It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

As a small business owner just getting started, I still need to maintain other employment to keep the bills paid. One of my jobs- and yes, I do have a few of them!- is as a team member at Ripley's here in Myrtle Beach. Although I look forward to the day my little store takes off and provides a sustainable income, I have to say, I really enjoy working at Ripley's.
I always wanted to get into Marine Science when I was younger, but life happens, and paths change, and Library Science became my life's work. However, taking this opportunity to work in an aquarium is a dream come true. Last night, for example, I worked the night shift to help us get set up for the Festival of Trees event starting next week. Check out my handiwork:
I hope I did the good folks of Nebraska proud!
The beautiful part is, these trees are all over the aquarium!
And being part of creating this magic was special enough, but as an added bonus, I even got to get up close to our resident sea turtle, Gabby, who usually hides out during the day!
Being a part of some place so special really does send me over the moon!
